Do we offer a warranty for our paint jobs?
Yes. All jobs are guaranteed with a 2 year Warranty. This covers any paint failures or deficiencies with the job.
Is Home Painters covered by the Workers Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) and Liability Insurance?
Yes. We are covered by WSIB with $5,000,000 in liability insurance. This covers my staff in the event of an injury on the job, or if there are any damages/accidents. It is imperative that all paint companies/contractors have both coverages if your house is being worked on.
Do we use experienced painters?
Our staff is comprised primarily with full time painters that have been employed by Home Painters for over 10 years.
We only hire experienced painters who have painted full time for a minimum of 5 years or more in Canada. We do not hire part-time helpers or students.
How long will I have to wait to get my house painted?
We are generally booked 2-3 weeks in advance. However, in extenuating circumstances (i.e. moving, vacations, low season, expecting baby, prepping house for special occasions etc.), we can make exceptions and schedule you in within a few days, depending on availability and time of the year.
Do we offer colour consultations?
Yes. We offer free colour consultations as we have painted thousands of homes and have worked with several different brands and colours.
How is our pricing compared to our competitors?
We are very competitive with other paint contractors. We deliver a top quality job at a reasonable price.
How long does it take for a typical paint job?
Depending on the size of your house, exterior jobs generally take 1-3 days. Interior jobs generally take 1-5 days. In both cases, jobs are always started and finish in consecutive days. Days are never taken off once a job has begun unless there are unforeseen circumstances
Unforeseen circumstances include weather conditions, customer requests, or if other renovators are involved occupying the space.
What happens if I am dissatisfied with the end result?
We are here to help! At Home Painters we always strive for your satisfaction. Most issues are resolved through good communication and attention to detail. We only proceed with a job once a contract has been explained thoroughly and agreed upon by both parties. If dissatisfaction does occur at the end of the job, we do everything we can to resolve the dispute within the confines of the contract signed by both parties.
Can payments be made by installment?
Yes. Home Painters is flexible with payment plans as long as you have communicated your instalment plan prior to booking the contract.
