WHAT FACTORS COULD AFFECT THE PRICE OF EXTERIOR RESIDENTIAL PAINTING?
There are several factors that can affect the cost of painting the exterior of a house. Here are some to consider when preparing your budget:
- Size of your house. Obviously, the larger the home, the more paint needed.
- Materials needed. This will include rentals, painting supplies, primer, ladders, etc.
- Preparation work required
- Season – fall is the best time of year for painting the exterior of your home. The optimal temperature is between 10-25 degrees Celsius – which in Canada, can be anytime from September to December!

Yes, all the materials to protect and prepare the walls as well as labor are included.
3. Do I have to move things around and clear the areas to be painted before the painters come?
Usually yes, painters can do it for you but that will add on the hours of your project and it will increase your overall estimate. But!, if there’s any oversized item that you cannot move on your own, it’s normally ok to ask them to give you a hand to move it a bit to allow them to paint.
4. How long will my project take?
Most jobs will take 2 and 5 days. But if your in a rush, inquire about our 1 or 2 day painting services.
5. How do I pick my colours?
